New financial services advisor panel launched by ICM Research

Written on November 6, 2010 by Milton Reyes

ICM Research, which is owned by communications company Creston, has announced the launch of a new financial services panel, comprising members who are independent financial advisors (IFAs), financial advisors and paraplanners.

The ICM advisor panel, which currently has 300 advisors, who provide feedback on how they see various aspects of providers’ businesses, is expected to expand over the next few months.

The panel will be supported by a database from IFA Promotion, which operate the advice website unbiased.co.uk, and which promotes the advantages and accessibility of independent financial advice to consumers and businesses. The panel will focus on online research, although ICM will also provide a telephone facility where participants can donate their GBP1-per-minute fee to charity.

Richard Bussy, project director at ICM, said “The ICM Advisor Panel is an initiative which pays participants well for their time and gives them an additional incentive to become involved through the charity scheme. Our unique database has come through IFA Promotion, which means it is totally up-to-date with every name self-classified and every individual fully opted-in.”

ICM Research, which is a part of the ICM Group, and includes ICM Direct and Fieldwork UK, and is in Creston’s Insight Division with Newvista Research, Marketing Sciences and CML Research.
